A few changes...

Good Morning,

I wanted to update everyone on a few things.

First of all, you will notice that this Sunday, February 16th we were supposed to have a luncheon with some of the senior members of our church.  Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we are going to reschedule this event for March 16th and we will have a St. Patricks Day theme.  

Since we will not have our luncheon, we WILL have youth group starting at 6pm.  We will have a movie night for all who wish to attend.  We will start with dinner as always at 6pm and end at 8:00pm.  

Don't forget, next weekend is the Walk for the Homeless on Saturday, February 22nd.  If you are planning to go, let me know so that I can get a head count.  Everyone should have a "walkers packet" at this point.  If you don't and would like one, let me know.  We will meet at the church at 7:00am and return back around 3:00pm.  Don't forget to ask for donations (sponsors) to support Good Works which is a non-profit organization that helps find homeless families a place to live.  

Our family fun night date has also been pushed back one night to Saturday, March 8th.  Over the next few weeks at youth group we will be preparing for this event.  The biggest item that we need to work on is collecting some items for the silent auction.  If you know someone who may like to donate, please ask them.  The event will be from 6-8:30pm will include a light meal, games, silent auction and finish with a talent show.  We have some folks already signed up for the talent show but can always use more!
