I wanted to update you on a few things that we have going on in the next couple of weeks. Please let me know if you have any questions…
1. On Sunday (9/29), the Schmitt's will be hosting youth group from 6-8pm. If you need their address, let me know. If you could bring a dessert to share with everyone, the rest will be provided. We will have games to play, conversation to participate in and an opportunity to talk about some up and coming youth events.
2. The following Sunday, October 6th, we will have our Jewelry Party from 6-8pm in the fellowship hall. Please remember to be selling from your catalogs and don't forget to invite a friend or 10 to the jewelry party.
3. October 12th, is the Christmas Bazaar hosted by the Preschool. We will be helping with a snack bar to raise some funds. We will be selling simple foods like hotdogs, taco in a bag and other small snacks. Please plan to help that day. On Sunday at the Schmitts, we will sign up for shifts so please look at your calendar before you come to youth in order to let me know what time period you are able to help from. The entire event runs from 8-4.
4. October 13th there is no youth group because we will have Matt Henson at church that evening to share with our congregation is important message. Please plan to come and listen as I am sure it will be a great evening.
5. October 19th is the High School Trip to King's Island. We will meet at the church at 1:30 for a 2:00pm departure. The cost for this trip will be $40 which will include your entrance to King's Island and travel costs. Please plan to bring money for food (we usually stop outside King's Island at a fast food place in order to avoid expensive food costs). We then return home around 3am. What's left of the night will be spent at the church until Sunday morning when we wake up for church. I NEED TO KNOW IF YOU WANT TO GO BY OCTOBER 13th. Please let me know if you are interested so I can arrange for transportation and adults.
I think that's all for now, let me know if you have any questions.
In Christ,
Matt
