I hope that everyone is ready for school to start! Some of you even start today…how exciting! We know how exciting it truly is for each of you to be back in the swing of things so I wanted to share with you some events that we have to look forward to over the next month. So check this out:
1. August 23rd - Back to School Bash - We will be kicking off the year with a lock-in. That's right, we will be at church from 8pm, August 23rd - 8 am August 24th. The night will consist of games, food, devotion and some movies….sleeping will be optional ;) You aren't going to want to miss this awesome night. If you can't be there right at 8pm, let me know and we will make sure to keep an eye out for you at the time you plan to arrive. Please note that once you arrive at church you are there for the night, you can not leave and come back. In the event you need to go home you may as long as you are picked up by a parent/guardian. This event is for 7-12 grade only and you may invite friends if they are in the age group. I am still in need of at least one female chaperone (18+) if anyone can be there for this.
2. September 8th - Messy Night - Are you ready to get messy again? Once again, this year won't be a disappointment. September 8th we will have messy night from 5:30pm - 7:00 pm. Come prepared to get messy and make sure to bring a friend!
3. September 15th - Parents Meeting - At this meeting we will look at the calendar for the year, go over important paperwork and share with you some valuable information for the year. We will begin at 6 pm with dinner provided and should be done no later than 7:30 pm. Make sure to mark you calendars so you don't miss out!
