This weekend....

Good Morning,

I am writing with a few items to share with you regarding this weekend.

1.  On Sunday morning, we will have a few things going on.  This month we will be helping with JAM (this week it will be the middle school class since this is the high school classes last lesson).  Also, the 5th and 6th grade Sunday school will be helping set up/ cut strawberries for the ice cream social.  Please plan to stay and help during the 11 o'clock hour because we will need as many hands as possible.  

2.  Sunday evening for youth group, we are going to go down to the park and have a cook-out since the basement will be set up for the ice cream social.  We will have ALL youth from 6-8:30 pm and spend the evening in the park playing games, cooking out and having devotions.  If you can not be at the church at 6pm, please plan to meet us at the park in the shelter house near the playground.  This will be the last weekly youth group meeting for the summer, we hope you can make it!

3.  On Monday, as I have mentioned, it is the ice cream social and the folks who put this event on are once again asking for our help.  Like last year, they are going to have a lunch session and a dinner session.  If you are able to help with either session or both, your help is much appreciated.  If you can help with lunch, please plan to be at the church around 10:30 and stay until 1:30.  For dinner, help will be needed from 3:30 until 7:30ish.  Our help is always appreciated as we clean off tables, help people to their seats and help with the final clean-up.  Please plan to be there if you are able.
