Advent - Day 4 The Beginning...

John 1:1-5 New International Version (NIV) The Word Became Flesh 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome[a] it. Before Saint Nick, Christmas trees, presents, and life at all, we must not forget who created this beautiful world that we live in. Sometimes we get so wrapped up (pardon the pun) in all the traditions of the holidays that we lose sight of where we have come from. Let's not allow ourselves to get caught up in all the "stuff" that is associated with the season and truly remember back to the BEGINNING...
