I hope that everyone is having a great week so far. I just wanted to remind everyone that we will be having a parents meeting this Sunday from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. We will meet with the middle school from 6-6:30 then meet with parents from 6:30-7:30 and then high school from 7:30 - 8:30 pm. Please plan to attend our parents meeting on September 16th at 6:30 pm. I would like to continue with our theme from last year and have dinner each Sunday evening so I thought it would be nice for us to ALL gather for dinner that evening from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. At this meeting I will hand out the schedule for the year as share with you our vision for the youth program over the next few years. In order to make the dinner possible I would like to make it a carry-in. I will provide fried chicken if parents would be willing to bring side dishes that would be appreciated. Please let me know what you can bring so that we have a nice variety. As of right now, I haven't heard from anyone so please make sure to RSVP.
High school I also want you to be aware that we will be going to King's Island on September 29th for their fright fest. We will meet at the church at 2:30 pm and return around 2:30 am. You are welcome to spend the night at the church upon our arrival home. The cost for the trip is $38 and covers your admission. Please let me know if you plan to attend by September 22nd so that I can arrange for drivers.
