I hope everyone is getting back into the swing of things as school starts and we get back into our routines. As we do this, we are preparing to start Sunday school on Sunday September 2nd and I am in need of some help on Wednesday to clean up the youth area. We have some pictures to hang, tables to move and general cleaning to do in order to be ready for the coming year. If you are able to help I will be working at the church from 6-7:30 pm and would love any and all help.
Also just as a heads up, we will be having messy night on September 9th from 5:30 - 7:00 pm so come prepared to get messy!
Lastly, parents, please plan to attend our parents meeting on September 16th at 6:30 pm. I would like to continue with our theme from last year and have dinner each Sunday evening so I thought it would be nice for us to ALL gather for dinner that evening from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. At this meeting I will hand out the schedule for the year as share with you our vision for the youth program over the next few years. In order to make the dinner possible I would like to make it a carry-in. I will provide fried chicken if parents would be willing to bring side dishes that would be appreciated. Please let me know what you can bring so that we have a nice variety.
