Here are a few things that are coming up that we would love for you to participate in:
1. Next Wednesday, June 20th, the "Snack and Learn Program will be hosting a block party at Lincoln Park from 5-7 pm. While this isn't a a youth group event, they are in need of our help serving, monitoring the bounce houses, and help interacting with some of the kids. Please let me know if you can help. Our help will be needed from 4:30 - 7:30 pm. I hope that you can help with this awesome event!
2. VBS- June 25th-29th. We need lots of help with VBS this year. We are still in need of youth for the morning (8:30- 11:00 am) and the evening (5:30 - 8:30 pm). If you could help assist as a crew leader, in the kitchen, with games, etc…let Matt know. Any and ALL help is greatly appreciated. We are also going to need help decorating on June 24th from 12 pm - 5pm.
3. Our mission trip this summer as I have announced a couple of times at youth group is going to be July 27th - July31st. The cost for the trip will be $20 and with the help of our "Family Fun Night" monies raised, the rest of the costs will be covered. Please let Matt know if you want to go by July 1st so that I can get a list of those who will be attending together. Here is the schedule for the event, there will be more details forthcoming.
July 27th - 5:00 PM - Meet at Church to depart for Newark, Ohio
7:30 PM - Arrive at Newark, Ohio - First UMC
July 28th - ALL DAY - Work in Newark, Ohio
July 29th - ALL DAY - Work in Newark, Ohio
Evening - Depart for Chillicothe, Ohio
July 30th - ALL DAY - Work in Chillicothe, Ohio
July 31st - ALL DAY - Work in Chillicothe, Ohio
7:00 PM - Depart for home…
