Hi Everyone,
First of all, I want to make sure that you are all aware that the Easter Outreach scheduled for this weekend has been postponed due to a scheduling conflict with the housing authority. I apologize for this last minute notice but we will NOT be meeting on Saturday. We WILL however be rescheduling this event to work in conjunction with our Snack and Learn program that is up and running at Lincoln Park on Monday’s and Wednesdays. Here is the new plan:
On Wednesday April 20th, we will meet at the church at 4:30 pm to make Mac and Cheese and salad for dinner. Then at 5:00 pm we will go to Lincoln park to cook out hotdogs, and get set up. Then we will start with dinner at 5:30 pm followed by crafts and a short Easter Message. Lastly, then we will pass out Easter baskets. I know this is a Wednesday but many of you don’t have school the next day. We will be done by 7:30 pm for those who need to get home to bed. Please let me know if you have any questions.
BOWLING FOR KIDS SAKE…I have had very few people reply about participating in the bowling this Sunday at Shawnee Lanes. If you are planning to bowl and can get $50 in donations by Sunday that would be great!! I have told them we would have two teams and would hate to back out on them last minute. PLEASE PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED.
Thanks everyone for your help on Friday, we had a great turn out and an awesome time! We will definitely need to do Family Fun Night again! Mark your calendar for May 22nd for our Worship service in the park. We will need all hands on deck to pull off this awesome event to our community. Thanks again!
